My machine is : ACER ASPIRE 5742 Intel i5 (Quad core) 2.7GHz 5GB RAM. “The program can’t start because MSVCR100.dll is missing” note MSVCR100.dll is present in C:\Program\LightZone\jre\bin Separately I then tried to run LIGHTZONE beta12 64bit on my laptop (as I thought this might be an alternative way of using it.
#Lightzone x86 or amd64 update#
“Unknown error opening this file” “class java lang.NullPointerException”ĭo you want me to update this info to the GITHUB issue #132 or is this email OK?
#Lightzone x86 or amd64 install#
After each install I ran CCleaner on the registry and them reinstalled the 32 bit LIGHTZONE beta12.Īfter removing all the above software and cleaning the registry I still get the same error SILKYPIX (PANASONIC), PHOTOfunStudio(PANASONIC) FASTSTONE IMAGE VIEW(3rd party).

I gradually removed all software on the machine which can use RW2 files. Machine : DELL DIMENSION DIMC521 (AMD ATHLON DUAL CORE 2 GHZ 3GB RAM) WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM SP2 32BIT This would point to an issue with the software and the machine/operating system (so I didn’t bother to upload my files)

I then downloaded a PANASONIC GF2 file from imaging resource and it also failed in the same way. If I find something else I write.I downloaded the imaging resource file you used and it fails to edit in the same way. In addition, it works very well, I'm happy. When I removed the package "NetworkManager" and started again the system started an Internet connection to work properly. The system saw chain, but it was not available for a call. I use KDE, but for testing I installed the GNOME and after installation, I could not connect to a WiFi network. I have multiple partitions on the disk, the one I have Mageia 2, on the other Mageia 3 alpha, and unfortunately I do not have access to the partition Mageia 2 if working on MGA3 and vice versa. sync does not work in Firefox 15.01 (FF Sync), the browser crash when I download it from the repo, but when I download from the Mozilla it works, so probably a bug in the package. graphical installer for now it looks ugly Overall, the system works quite well as the Alpha 1 I installed Mageia 3 alpha x86 DVD and I have a few comments. I would say it looks pretty good for an alpha1. Need to get Xfce on there to feel comfortable.

Will be posting about the install problem as I don't have a clue how to fix that. Some work in chroot got "radeon-firmware" installed and now it boots fine to the Gnome fallback or what ever they call it. The M3 menu.list had the correct location of M2 in it.Ĭouldn't figure out how to enable "nonfree" repos when installing so had some trouble getting it to boot at all. Interesting to note that I could not boot to M3 from the M3 menu but could use the "alt Mageia Official" menu entry from it to boot to M2. M3 listed it as (hd2,10) and M2 listed it as (hd0,7). They are installed on sda9 (M2) and sda11 (M3). Grub for some reason thought putting the wrong partition in the menu entry was a great idea, I didn't.

Seems to work as long as I do not want to upgrade or install packages. sometimes white background when changin back to Adwaita.Īs I am using Gnome3 only, when I am in "Hipster-Mode" - no big deal. Oxygen-Gtk not working correct - like in MGA2. Some glitches with Gnome 3 when changing GTK-Themes. As USB 1.0 is fast enough for my needs, no problem either.ģ. Virtualbox 4.1.18 (mga3 rpm) is not able to load the 4.1.18 Extension Pack. Verbose mode - no problems, no show stopperĢ.
#Lightzone x86 or amd64 driver#
XServer / Noveau driver starts KDM with garbled screen when using graphical boot mode. Nearly everything is working out of the box, only three minor glitches at the moment:ġ. LXDE, KDE4, GNOME3, Firefox, Thunderbird, Digikam, VLC, Virtualbox with XP Guest, Libreoffice, K3b, Grip, Google-Earth, Skype, and some proprietary software like Aftershot and LightZone (the reason why I use i586, it doesn't work on a AMD64 system). I installed MGA3A in the same configuration like my productive MGA2 System as i586 on a AMD X4, Geforce 6100. Thank you all for the hard work! Alpha1 is a typically Mageia Alpha - it works stable with only some minor glitches.
